The tour will continue from there to the Arenal National Park, home of the world’s second most active volcano. Here you will have unrivaled views of the conical volcano as well as informative guided tours through the dense rainforest to view the natural beauty and abundance of wildlife that roams free. The final chapter of your Arenal experience includes an evening trip to a local hot springs.

Day 5: The Canyon Canopy Tour is the most dynamic Canopy tour in Costa Rica because it combines more than just the zip lines. The Canyon Canopy Tour includes rappelling, rock climbing, tarzan swing and hanging bridges, all set in the majestic canyon made by the erosion of the Blanco River during millions of years.

Rio Negro Tubing begins with a 45 minute horseback ride through the dry tropical forest. After a stop at the changing rooms and a short walk, we arrive to the base of La Victoria Waterfall. After a short safety briefing THE ADVENTURE BEGINS! Everyone gets a tube that even has a protective fabric for protection, these are hi-tech Inter-tubes. The excitement begins as we jump in and begin the journey, adrenalin can really get pumping as the white water rapids in the Rio Negro take you for a wild ride. The tubing lasts for an hour and a half. Then we go to the changing rooms and get the horses to go back to the lodge. Now for the relaxation at volcanic mud pool and thermal hot springs. This unique attraction is surrounded by forest and adjacent to the Colorado River. The boiling mud pools are formed when heat and hot gases rise from deep below the earth and surfaces through cracks in the geological formations. The water and the volcanic mud are believed to have healing properties, at the very least it makes you feel good smearing around from head to toe!
